• Follow this step

1. First submit your FIR if your mobile lost or stolen
2. Then submit your FIR to your service provider
3. Then ask your service provider to trace your number
4. If your mobile is switched on and it has different Sim-card then it will trace easily
5. If your simcard is not activated then also your mobile can trace
6. You can ask your service provider to Block your IMEI number
7. Service provider use a shared hosting service for blocking IMEI numbers
8. Witch mean if your mobile have different Sim then also Your mobile  not work
9. your service provider get that Sim number which is used for you IMEI Number

• point to Remember :

1. when ever you purchased new mobile then take your IMEI number and note it
2. if your mobile lost or stolen then  call to your service provider and block your number
3. then go to your nearest police station and give written complete that is FIR
4. and take one copy for you
5. then submit this copy to your service provider

Why is the 250GB hard disk having less than 233 GB?

All Hard Disk manufacturer way of counting
space is different from the way a software count a space. This means to a Hard Disk Manufacturer, 1GB is 1000 MB, 1 MB is 1000 KB and so on.
Software or computer language recognize a space in terms of power of 2 say 21, 22,23 etc. hence a KB is 210 Bytes which is 1024 Bytes.






 
Lets do a little math:
From a Manufacturer a 250 GB hard disk is
250 x 1000 x 1000 x 1000 = 250000000000 Bytes





From the Computer Language point of view a 250000000000 Bytes is:
250000000000/(1024*1024*1024) = 232.83 GB

Now you’ll see why your 250GB hard disk has only less than 232.83 GB space in total. Well if you go with higher space like 500 GB and so on the space missing is increasing.
